Privacy Notice
1. Scope
This notice applies to all pages and services hosted under saadi.ch and its subdomains (including chat.saadi.ch). It describes what personal data is collected, why, and your rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data collected and purpose
- Log data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. Purpose: security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR / Art. 31 revDSG). Retention: 30 days.
- Chat messages (chat.saadi.ch) — the text of messages you send. Purpose: to provide the AI-assisted chat service and to detect misuse. Legal basis: performance of a service / legitimate interest. Retention: 90 days from the date of the exchange.
- Email address — collected via Cloudflare Access one-time PIN login on chat.saadi.ch. Purpose: authentication. Retention: session only.
3. Third-party processors
- Cloudflare, Inc. — infrastructure, CDN, Access authentication. Data may be processed in the US under Cloudflare's DPA and Standard Contractual Clauses.
- OpenAI, Inc. — large-language model inference for chat responses. Messages are transmitted to OpenAI's API. See OpenAI Privacy Policy.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any right, contact jakub@saadi.ch. Requests are answered within 30 days.
5. Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a
technical cookie (__cf_bm) for bot protection. No consent is required
for strictly necessary cookies under Swiss law.
6. Changes
Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
